Dry areas around the nose:
Healing salve helps with how dry my nose gets from rubbing my nose. I apply my healing salve ( Herbal Healing Salve from Pumpkin Moon Farm ) when I wake up and after I take off my makeup. I also have in my bag if my nose gets really dry during the day, I just pat in it (trying not to remove my concealer) and repowder.
Watery or red eyes:
Red eyes is easy fix with eye drops meant for allergy, even if you don't wake up with red eye I would still have eye drops on me, as pollen can turn your eyes red without being itchy. Eye Drops can help with watering of the eye, but I still say wear waterproof makeup, and mineral makeup around the eye. I set my non-water proof concealers with mineral powders. the powder turns to liquid and turns back in powder later on, it does need re-blending sometime. I do not recommend wearing anything on the waterlines as it can trap the pollen in the eye making the eyes worst. Also having a makeup remover pen with you is a good idea to clean up makeup during day. Blotchiness around the nose, eyes, and lips:
A long lasting concealer and a setting powder will hide this all day. If you have oil skin or sweat a lot, a primer can hold the product in place longer, also blotting can help.
Clean everything:
I know this sound like common sense but some people don't clean their brushes. I have my window open during the summer, so I deep clean my brush twice a week(I have two full set of brushes), and spot clean everyday to keep the pollen out of the brushes. Also spraying down your makeup with a high % alcohol will help lower the allergies/redness of the eyes.
