What I mixed up:
- 2 Tablespoons Shea Butter
- 3 Tablespoons Bake Soda
- 2.5 Tablespoons Corn Starch
- 3 Tablespoons 100% Aloe Vera
- 2 Teaspoons of 100% Pure Vitamin E Oil
- Essential Oils (I used Orange Blossom)
I mixed together the Bake Soda and Corn Starch. Then I melted the shea butter in the microwave for 1 minute, 30 seconds at a time. Next I mixed in the melted shea butter, aloe vera, and vitamin E oil. I mixed until I got a texture of whipped frosting (weird thing to compare to but it really does look and felt like whipped frosting), and added my essential oil at this point. I poured/spooned my mixutre into a old body butter container. I let it set over night, and tried it out in the morning. It is a little hard when I put my finger in it, but it warmed up quickly, and rubbed in easily. Its does let a powdery feeling, but its not a gross feeling. I haven't had any smelly problems and I have been using this 3 days now, I will keep you updated.
