I hoping that Goslings ChopSaver can make into Canada soon, as I need like crate of these around my house, as I have almost loss mine like 10 times before writing this review. I'm also tried of lipbalms not working due to the cold weather. This has quickly made it to my everyday skincare routine for both day and night.
I was not financially compensated for this post. I received a sample for review purposes. The opinions are completely my own based on my experience. I dislike winter alot, one of the main reasons being my lips dry out, which is painful. With the traveling I do during the winter, I deal with Canadian winter that are right off the coastline, but also a drier winter where I live and go to school at. Thankfully this year, my lips have be moisturized thanks to ChopSaver. Chopsaver is an all-natural lip care product that was designed for woodwind and brass musicans, but anyone can use it and it can now be found at CVS in the United States, or online at their website. This one of only lipbalm that work for me (the other with being local bee wax lipbalm), as it uses oil based formula to moisturize the lips, with the main oil being sunflower oil, with shea butter, mango butter, aloe, and other healing and smoothing ingrediends. This mix of ingredients creates both protect barrier agaist both the weather and my matte lip products, but also adds moisture to the lips. If you are planning on wearing the under a matte lip color, put on before you start your makeup, and let set in before as the oils in the Chopsaver can break down most lip products. These do have a scent, both the orginal and the SPF 15 Chopsavers come in Fresh Citus. When I first got mine and smelled it, all I got was 7up or spirit. I know that sounds weird, and why not mint flavour like every other lipbalm on the market? While mint is tastey and smells amazing, it can dry the lips out even more, meaning you need to apply more. Chopsaver is a great value, being under $5 at CVS's, which you can also get a free sample on their website, but you do have to pay shipping.

Over the last little bit, my skin has been really dry, including my under eyes. I'm only 22, but I have one major line I was born with and a few fine lines starting. To try and combat this lines I have been using a serum at is over $300, but I have found something I like a lot more, which is the Derma-e Firming DMAE Eye Lift which is $24.95 for 14 grams, which pretty good for what you get, if you're in the states, you maybe able to get this on sale at Target, I'm going to wait until a huge sale and stock up as I'm in Canada. The major reason I like this a lot is I can wear makeup over the cream and worry about it moving or causing creasing, as is sets into the skin quickly but the area still feels moisturizing. I have been using this both day and night, and there has been small changes the apprentice of my fine lines.
