I don't really like carrying a lot of stuff with me, as I take the bus to college and text books are heavy. I normally take a notebook, with build-in packs for handouts, a small notebook for blog and youtube idea brainstorming in between class, myDIY planner, and my makeup and first aid bag. I also take a coin purse and a water bottle, or a coffee cup.
Inside my planner I keep a number of Starpie pens, and a few other pens. I also have a Starpie Duel Ended Marker, and a pencil. There is also page flags and highlighters, Paperclips and a flash drive.
In my makeup/first aid bag, I have painkillers, a mini first aid kit, wet wipes, and eye drops. I also have glasses repair kit, and glass cleaning cloth. For makeup I take a Physicians Formula Super CC powder, Ecotool brush, Essence Lipstick in Sparking Romance, Annabell Big Show Lip Shine in Flirt. Lastly I have Nova Scotia Fishman Cuticle Recue, perfume and hand sanitizer. Those are my backpack essentials, what are your backpack essentials? Product used:

I’m not sure why I stopped using a planner after high school. Maybe it’s because no one was checking if I was using it. But I think that my needs in a planner has changed from writing down home to planning blog posts and work/school weeks out.
I did look at a few planners online, like the Erin Condren, and the Happy Planners. I did how customizable both are, but the Erin Condren planner was not in my budget, and my area does not have the Happy Planners. So what’s a girl to do? DIY it, of course! With summer nearly over for my area, and I know some other places have already headed back to school, I thought I would have a full back to school series. This series is going to be mix of blog posts and videos for you to enjoy, and will run until the end of September. If you have any posts you would love to see, leave them in the comments below, or on any of my social media pages which can all be found at the top of the page.
I was not financially compensated for this post. I received a sample for review purposes. The opinions are completely my own based on my experience.
Maritime Natural Vitamin C Serum is made with 20% Vitamin C, with Hyaluronic Acid and Vitamin E. Maritime Natural products are made in Nova Scotia, are not tested on animal, and are vegan friendly. This serum is moistening, and absorbs quickly into the skin. I’m not sure how this works on aging skin, but my skin did look a little more pump. My skin did have an issue with this serum, after 3 days I have a painful break out on the side of my nose. I know it was the serum as it was the only new product I was using. I think people with dry or normal skin, looking for a good more natural serum for anti-aging would like the Maritime Natural Vitamin C Serum. I do like the fact you get 2OZ for $35CAN, instead of the normal 1OZ bottles. I also like the glass bottle with the pump. Rating: 2.5 of 5 Cups of Coffee |
